I think I figured out that "pip install zingg" installs the Zingg API in Python, while "installing from release" install the full thing on your computer.
Hello all! I want to use Zingg on my local machine to perform entity resolution on a simple pandas dataframe to begin. Is it enough to install it with "pip install zingg"? Or do I have to follow the instructions here and install JDK 11.0.23 + Apache Spark - version spark-3.5.0-bin-hadoop3? What's the difference between installing the Python package with pip and "installing from release"?
Hello all! I work in a major canadian insurance company, and I'm here because I'm on an entity resolution project and looking at the GitHub page, Zingg looked like a good tool for my needs π
